  And yes, the shopping was great too...but mostly window shopping for me since I wasn't working; I was using my money for living expenses & travel. But it was crazy that there is a whole city of shopping below the main streets. I remember first rolling into Sydney & wandering around looking for the grocery store & not being able to find it. It was under the street! I had no idea..... I only remember going to Paddy's market once. I think it was a flee market type place, right?

  I went to Australia to live for a year; just to do something different & experience a different type of culture. But little did I know... I couldn't get a work visa once I got there; I was actually supposed to apply for one before I left! Oops. So that's why my trip got cut short to 6 months. Mostly I enjoyed Sydney a lot; but I also traveled up & down the coast. From Melbourne all the way up past Port Douglas. I truly loved every minute of my time spent in Australia.
